Providing expert legal advice, by appointment, on legal matters related to business startup:

Intellectual Property Clinic
Counseling Pennsylvania innovators, entrepreneurs, small businesses, and early-stage start-ups in intellectual property strategy.
Services are provided pro bono (free) to clients who would not otherwise have access to high quality intellectual property legal services. The IP Clinic does not provide services relating to litigation. Under the direction and guidance of the Clinic Director, the IP Clinic’s team of Penn State Law students advise clients in various matters:
- General intellectual property counseling
- Performing patentability and trademark clearance searches
- Drafting patent and trademark applications, and interacting with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office
